HeartCue Privacy Policy

Information HeartCue Accesses

With your permission, HeartCue reads heart-rate samples from Apple Health through HealthKit. HeartCue also requests permission to start a temporary workout session so Apple Watch can provide live heart-rate updates while a session is active.

How the Information Is Used

HeartCue uses the current heart-rate value on your Apple Watch to generate audio feedback. Higher heart-rate values produce quicker, higher-pitched pulses; lower values produce slower, lower-pitched pulses.

Data Collection and Sharing

HeartCue does not collect or transmit personal data. Heart-rate data is processed on your Apple Watch and is not sent to the developer or to third parties.

HeartCue does not include analytics, advertising, tracking technologies, third-party SDKs, user accounts, or cloud storage. Health data is never used for advertising or marketing.

Data Storage

HeartCue does not save heart-rate samples or workout records. The temporary workout used to receive live readings is discarded when a session ends.

HeartCue stores only your preferred audio volume locally on your device. This preference contains no health or identifying information and is removed when you delete the app.

Your Choices

You can grant or revoke HeartCue's Health access at any time in the Health app or Apple Watch settings. If you revoke access, HeartCue cannot provide live heart-rate audio feedback.

Children's Privacy

HeartCue does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Wellness and Medical Notice

HeartCue is a general wellness and self-awareness tool. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition. Do not use HeartCue to make medical decisions. If you have a health concern, consult a qualified healthcare professional.

Changes to This Policy

If HeartCue's data practices change, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosure will be updated before the change is released.
