Tap Start and, with your permission, HeartCue reads your current heart rate from Apple Health. Each reading shapes the audio in real time.
Made for Apple Watch
HeartCue turns your live Apple Watch heart rate into sound, giving you an immediate cue you can listen to while you slow down, breathe comfortably, and notice how your body responds.
A mindful signal
A simple, private way to make your current heart rate perceptible without staring at a chart.

Settle into a safe, comfortable position. Breathe slowly without straining, allowing the exhale to feel easy and unhurried.
Higher BPM creates quicker, higher-pitched pulses. Lower BPM creates slower, lower-pitched pulses, so changes become something you can hear.
Inspired by biofeedback
Biofeedback makes a normally quiet body signal perceptible so a person can respond intentionally. HeartCue is inspired by research on slow-paced breathing and heart-rate-variability biofeedback, while providing a simpler signal: current heart rate translated into sound.
HeartCue measures heart rate, not heart-rate variability. Its audio mapping has not been clinically validated, and individual responses vary.
Private by design
HeartCue has no account, analytics, advertising, subscription, or cloud service. Heart-rate readings are processed on Apple Watch, and the temporary workout session used for live updates is discarded when you stop.
